After a lengthy and very competitive application process, Pine Valley was recently awarded $14 million from New York State to update its facilities making it fresher, more modern and truly state of the art.
Pine Valley plans to restructure and renovate the entire facility. Starting with their rehabilitation services, the plan is to expand the rehabilitative suite to approximately 3,700 square feet, renovating it and equipping it with new state of the art therapy equipment designed to maximize the patient’s recovery process.
In addition, Pine Valley is modernizing all of the rooms in the entire facility and adding additional private rooms and private suites. Upon completion of the renovations, the majority of the rooms in the facility will be private. To make the patient’s experience even more pleasurable, there will be an outdoor rooftop courtyard with a deck overlooking a pond with a fountain. On pleasant weather days, patients can go outside for fresh air, relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
Within this major renovation plan, Pine Valley also intends to add 56 units of assisted living space for seniors who may need a little help, but do not require around the clock supervision. In these assisted living units, seniors will live independently, yet support for their daily activities such as bathing, dressing, cooking, housekeeping, medication reminders and errands will be readily available should the senior desire it. While privacy and independence will be encouraged, help will be only a phone call away – day or night.
Pine Valley continues to grow and excel in all directions, from the best staff to the best therapy, and from the best facility to the best assisted living. Pine Valley is always there to help, providing quality care with love, in any way it can.
