Pine Valley offers long term care for those in need of a more permanent solution to their current struggles. Our long term care program provides services that help people with chronic limitations that keep them from being independent. It helps individuals maintain their level of functioning. If individuals have physical illnesses or disabilities, they often need help with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Our experienced and caring Certified Nursing Aids care for each and every resident as thought they were their own family member.
Pine Valley also has a wing for our residents with cognitive impairments and for those who struggle with dementia. Individuals with cognitive impairments usually need supervision, protection, or verbal reminders to do everyday activities and our specially trained cognitive-wing staff have many years of experience in helping their residents get the most out of their day.
Skilled care and custodial care are the terms most often used to describe long-term care.
